St. Fagan's visit
Year 1 and 2 children had a wonderful trip to St. Fagans this week to help them learn more about The Great Fire of London.
The sun was shining and the children were very excited to visit the museum. We visited the Tudor house and found out that we already knew a lot about them and also found out some new things too. We stopped off at the bakery just in time to buy some freshly baked bread and enjoyed some for our snack… delicious! Next we stopped off at the Blacksmiths where we saw how fire could be used to make things from iron – we even got a little something to bring back to school. After lunch, we went to see more fire at the Celtic round houses and learnt how it was used before the Tudor and Stewart times that we have been learning about. A lovely day that was enjoyed by all.
