Eco Committee enjoyed a visit from Vaughan Gething MS

Mr Gething met the representatives to discuss road safety and how they have been involved in Fairfield's Community Street Design Project.  The group explained how they have worked with Sustrans Cymru to encourage walking or cycling to school, along with help to fix bikes and scooters.  An important part of their involvement was creating new designs for local roads to keep children safe on their journey to and from school, supporting the development of the Community Street Design Project.  The children are very excited to see all their hard work put into practice, with work on Dryden Road beginning next week.  They are hoping that Vaughan Gething MS will visit again to see their designs in practice!
