Kinetic Theatre Visit

There was a performance by Kinetic Theatre for the whole school on the afternoon of Friday 30^th January 2015.

This performance introduced children to Light and Dark.  Light Sources were demonstrated and the 7 Colours of the Rainbow explored through inter-active audience participation songs.  Light was shown to travel in Straight Lines and the principle of Reflection was shown with particular reference to the periscope and moonlight.  Basic Shadow Formation were also demonstrated.

Also demonstrated were how we see things (by light entering the eye) and how we see particular colours (colour absorption and reflection).  Optical illusions were also considered.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the show and particularly enjoyed the audience participation.

Kinetic Theatre
