Olympic Torch Relay

Fairfield took part in a Mini-Olympic Torch Relay with local schools on Thursday 10th May. This special event was timed to coincide with the Olympic flame being lit in Greece ready for its journey to the London Olympics. The torch relay marks the beginning of an exciting series of sporting events taking place across local schools to encourage children to participate in the Olympic celebration and understand the Olympic values.
