Fairfield's Fantastic Fencers
Fairfield fencers have had a fantastic month competing in the Leon Paul Junior series (LPJS) and the Welsh Youth Epee Championships.
Fairfield fencers have had a fantastic month competing in the Leon Paul Junior series (LPJS) and the Welsh Youth Epee Championships.
Competing at the Millfield Independent Public School LPJS, Somerset, against some of the best fencers from the public school sector in their age group, they fought with confidence and zeal, with fantastic support from their parents.
They finished the competition just out of the medals, finishing 6th, 7th, 8th 11th and 12th, finishing the year among the top 30 in their age group for Great Britain.
At the Welsh Youth Epee Championships the boys collected the top honours and are the current Welsh Epee champions in their age group with one of the fencers collecting the Best Sportsman Award.
