  • Silly Clothes Day!

    The children were invited to dress up in their silliest clothes for Red Nose Day! They all looked fantastic in their silliest outfits and we raised a brilliant £257 for Comic Relief. Thank you all for your donations and thank you to Ms Fletcher for your kind donation of red face paint to paint the children’s noses. Diolch!

  • Penarth Pavilion Daffodils

    The Pier looked wonderful during half term for the St David’s Day celebration. All the children and Mrs Smith worked hard creating beautiful daffodils, which were displayed on Penarth Pavilion.   Thank you to ‘aamedia’ and ‘Seabreeze’ for sponsoring this project.

  • Number Day!

    The snow didn’t stop the children from having a very fun day exploring numbers today. Lots of children dressed up in number inspired costumes from dice, calculators and even 118! They all looked absolutely fantastic!

    The day also helped to raise £40.00 and awareness of the charity NSPCC. Thank you for your donations and providing the children’s costumes!

  • Be Bright! Be Seen!

    Monday morning the skies were grey, but Fairfield children and staff certainly weren't. It was our Be Bright, Be Seen event day and the school was awash with colour, sparkles, twinkling lights and reflective gear. Our Eco-Committee chose winners from each phase through the school, judged to have been the brightest. They all looked amazing and had certainly taken on board the Road Safety Week message.

  • Cardiff Castle

    On Thursday, as part of their Blitz topic, Year 5&6 visited Cardiff Castle to experience ‘Life on the Home Front’.
    It was a super day of finding out facts, learning and performing songs of the period and experiencing a walk through a bomb shelter.
    Thanks to all for providing costumes – the children looked authentic and had a super day.

  • CCFC BBC Super Movers

    Year 3/4 had a great trip on Thursday to CCFC to take part in the BBC Super Movers Campaign to launch welsh resources. We did lots of fun exercise activities using welsh, had a tour of the stadium and had a chance to see the Premier League Cup close up!

  • Type Onesie Day

    We wore our onesies to stand out and stand up to Type 1. We joined thousands of others across the country to raise awareness and money to help create a world without Type 1 Diabetes. Your fundraising will help support the hundreds of Type 1 Diabetes research projects we’re currently funding. Thank you for all your support we raised a grand total of £315!
