On Thursday 14th November, children from Fairfield Primary School visited the Marie Curie Centre in Penarth. The boys and girls in the Year 1&2 choir were invited to sing to patients of the centre as part of a regular Thursday morning session for residents. The children aged between 5 and 7 were supported by some year 6 girls who all sung their hearts out and performed autumn themed songs, much to the pleasure of the patients. The staff and children of Fairfield would like to extend their thanks to the residents and carers for welcoming them so warmly and look forward to a return visit in the spring.
